Named after the Gaelic word for “threshold,” Stairsneach reflects the idea of entering the world of true Islay whisky. Appearance — A pale, natural hue reminiscent of white wine, reflecting its coastal provenance and purity.
On the nose — A powerful burst of peat smoke with a distinctly medicinal edge. Tar, iodine, and seaweed. Subtle layers of aged wood, brine, and faint floral tones.
