In Balmore, to the east of Scotland, life is uneventful, this is why nature there is unspoit. It’s pure and resilient at the same time. That's where we got inspired to create a selection of the authentic malts from the best Scottish distilleries that could express the hidden richness of this land. 

This whisky showcases the classic Highland style that has become synonymous with some of the finest offerings of Scotch whisky available. This particular malt hails from the northern Highland’s distillery – Teaninich, one of very few distilleries in Scotland to use a mash filter rather than the more common mash tun. The result yields a grassy character, reminiscent of Japanese green tea. We have matured this whisky in ex-bourbon casks, which imparts delicious notes of vanilla and indulgent toffee.

Fresh, fruity and floral scents are complimented by nutty notes with a spicy, warming finish. Apple pie with vanilla custard, green tea, aniseed, freshly mowed grass and just a hint of black pepper to round it off.
